Undergraduate Library Project Closure

Approved Traffic Closure – Undergraduate Library Renovation project from 7-31-2023 to 6-5-2025

Sidewalk and circle drive located south of the Undergraduate Library will be closed from Monday, July 31, 2023 to Thursday, June 5, 2025, weather permitting. The old DRES paratransit shuttle bus stop is no longer used as the circle drive is needed for construction access into the job site from August 1, 2023, through June 5, 2025. The DRES bus stop was moved west towards S. Sixth Street along Gregory Drive. The new stop is just south of the Main Library entrance. This closure will not impact the Bike Path.

The reason for this closure: Establish a Construction Site perimeter fence to limit pedestrian cross traffic at job site entrance gates for deliveries and where a crane will place demolition materials/equipment into dumpsters. The circle drive will be critical to performing the renovation of the Undergraduate Library Renovation project.
