Adjustments will occur for several streets near the facility.

Approved Campus Closure

Several street segments in Urbana will be closed or adjusted today until 9 p.m. for the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center (BNAACC) 2024 BBQ and Resource Fair.

Nevada Street between Mathews Avenue and Goodwin Avenue will be closed to accommodate the main event area. One-way traffic on Oregon Street will be converted to eastbound only to allow exiting from Mathews Avenue to Goodwin Avenue. Mathews Avenue will be closed at Oregon Street and only allow north/south local traffic to nearby properties and residences.

Thanks for your assistance in notifying others of this temporary adjustment. If traveling in this area during the closure, please use caution and watch for increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
