All unattended bicycles on campus will be impounded this summer.
If you no longer need your bicycle at the end of the academic year, donate it to the Campus Bike Center (51 E. Gregory Drive, Champaign) or the Bike Project of Urbana-Champaign (202 S. Broadway Avenue, Room 24, Urbana). No appointment is required at either location, and it only takes a few minutes to drop off your bike. Your bike donation may also be tax-deductible.
All donated bicycles will be refurbished or recycled, with as many parts reused as possible. Both the Campus Bike Center and the Bike Project of Urbana-Champaign offer restored bikes for sale that have been inspected by staff. Specific parts are also available for purchase.
