Noontime Knowledge – Earth Month

Celebrate Earth Month with the F&S Diversity and Inclusion Committee on Wednesday, April 29, at noon! This Noontime Knowledge features guest speaker Bridgette Moen’s talk, “Equitable Access to Open Space.” She’ll explore the “importance of access to nature and parks, recommendations for access, and how Champaign County meets (or in some cases does not meet) those recommendations.”

Moen worked as both the planning director of the Champaign County Forest Preserve District and a park planner with the Champaign Park District before joining F&S, so this is sure to be an interesting and informative talk!
