There will be a traffic shift for south bound lane of Sixth St traffic south of Lorado Taft Dr, south lane of Sixth St and west bound lane of Peabody Dr at the intersection of Sixth and Peabody, and west bound lane of Peabody Dr west of Fourth St from Monday, August 12, 2024 to Friday, August 16, 2024.
Location 1) 20′ radius around manhole that is on 6th Street south west of cross walk that is south of Gies College of Business.
Location 2) 20′ radius around manhole located in south and west bound lane of 6th and Peabody
Location 3) West bound lane of Peabody, west of 4th street, for manhole that is located in center of crosswalk. 15’x30′ radius.
The intersection of Peabody Dr and Sixth St as well as the intersection of Peabody Dr and Fourth St will be impacted by this closure.
Reason for Closure: Manhole access that is located in street for pulling new fiber optics for new building (Wymer Hall).
