Insulators

Overheating in mechanical spaces costs the campus in lost energy efficiency. The heat/frost insulators add recyclable insulating materials to pipes and equipment, providing energy conservation and burn protection, as well as reducing unnecessary wear and tear on other mechanical room equipment.

The shop also performs insulation repairs and upgrades to all mechanical heating and cooling systems to provide increased efficiency of those systems by reducing losses through unrestrained heat transfer.
