Whether you are a commuter, a resident, or a visitor, the Illinois Department of Transportation wants to hear your insights on and experiences regarding  the state’s comprehensive transportation system.

The 2024 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Public Engagement Survey is available in both English and Spanish, and only takes a few minutes to complete. Your input will help shape the goals and objectives in the LRTP that will guide transportation planning and projects for for years to come. The university supports investments and improvements to the transportation network that enhance streets, bicycle lanes, sidewalk, and pathways; increase safety for all users; support sustainability efforts and achieving carbon reduction goals; and encourage active transportation to promote healthy lifestyles and the well-being of individuals across local communities.
