Sign Up for Crucial Conversations Training by Monday, April 7

The deadline to nominate yourself or a team member to participate in the two-day training event, Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue, is Monday, April 7. This training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday, April 15 and 17, in Stores & Receiving conference room 1A, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

Previous participants reported how much they enjoyed this dynamic training, which teaches you to find mutual ground and understanding in any conversation. The instructor-led, interactive sessions have real-time practice and coaching scenarios to help you be better prepared to share your concerns and speak up about workplace issues. You’ll also discover how to navigate any difficult conversation—at work or at home—to achieve positive outcomes confidently. If you’re a foreperson or supervisor, you may find the training particularly useful.

This on-site, comprehensive, two-day training program, including access to the associated learning materials, costs $350.00 per person. Existing departmental/shop training budgets will be charged for this purpose. Supervisor approval should be obtained and noted in the registration form.
