Temperature control mechanics work with the HVACs of every building on campus. Each mechanic is skilled in troubleshooting, repair, installation, and calibration. They are also experienced with both pneumatic and direct digital control HVAC systems. Each mechanic is assigned their own route, giving them extensive knowledge of each building they work with. All mechanics use a work management system, which sends service calls directly to their phones, allowing for more immediate customer interaction. Air compressor mechanics specialize in the installation and servicing of air-compressors, including air dryers and filters, on campus. Installation mechanics are responsible for installing the new controls on campus, as well as working on room remodels, air handler unit control upgrades, and heat exchanger controls.
