F&S is committed to operating an efficient, cost-effective small construction project delivery process for satisfied customers, which yields high-quality facilities that support University of Illinois educational and research missions. Small construction frequently requires design by design professionals and the coordination of a combination of external contractors and in-house crafts and trades for many units across the university.

Construction Services provides coordination and delivery for small construction projects, ranging from basic improvements to comprehensive classroom and laboratory remodels. The department utilizes three separate delivery options to meet the campus demand for non-capital construction in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Service Office
The Service Office processes service requests, outages, and utility locates for the campus. The Service Office receives more than 190 work requests per day and averages 10 outage requests and 15 locates per day.
